What is LiFE?

LiFE stands for Live Fully and Excel - which is what I strive to support you to do through my coaching services!



As a behavior change expert with over 10 years of experience supporting social and behavioral change in others and myself, I know how to support you to achieve your goal - that is, if you are willing to commit to the process! We are going to meet you where you are at currently and support you to make small, sustainable changes that will allow you to not only achieve your goal - may that be to destress, achieve weightloss, or perhaps is more career or skill focused - but sustain it for life. My ultimate goal is to support you to live your best life, fully.



Regardless of what your goal may be or which coaching service you feel is best for you, we will use a “whole-life” approach that is both trauma informed and sensitive throughout the coaching sessions. This means that we are not going to look at your goals in a siloed manner, but ensure that all aspects of your life, including career, lifestyle, beliefs and values, relationships, and health are considered in achieving your goals in the best way for you that acknowledges and works through any potential triggers you may have due to past trauma and or difficulties.

Hi, I’m Amanda!

I am a social and behavior change expert with over 10 years experience working in global health and broader international development, including coaching professionals across all levels of the global health system to improve social and behavioral outcomes, patient advocacy and rights, human centered care, and gender equity and social inclusion.



In 2022, I burnt out. But to be honest, the signs of burnout had already started almost 10 years earlier. Instead of listening to my body, I pushed harder - in work, exercise, socializing, and more. This resulted in a crash - a big one. My body shut down, my brain short circuited, and for over a year I could focus on nothing more than my healing and recovery. It was honestly the best thing that could have happened to me.



Once I reached rock bottom, I realized I needed to change and to do so I had to set some tough boundaries (for others but mostly for myself), re-evaluate and define my self, values, what truly brings me joy, and the life I wanted to live. In order to live fully and excel, I needed to change and in order to change, I needed to take my time, start small and see the growth and change over time. I had to deal with my past, beliefs, traumas, values, and own self-worth.



Throughout my recovery journey, I felt frustrated by the lack of knowledge and resources available surrounding fitness, nutrition, stress, burnout, and trauma - and I decided I wanted to bridge those gaps with my life coaching services that focus on mind and body. As a trauma survivor, my coaching services are trauma-sensitive and informed so that we minimize stress and anxiety throughout the experience.



I designed Live Fully and Excel (LiFE) coaching services to utilize on a ‘whole-life’ approach, meaning that we will look at your goal through a wide lens, ensuring that we factor in all the realities of your current life, lifestyle, mental and physical health, social network, and more to identify and navigate the best path to achieving your goal.
